About Me

I’m a journalism\sociology student at the University of Tennessee at Martin with plans for grad school and a future degree in sociology. I work as the Managing/News Editor for The Pacer, UTM’s editorially independent student newspaper. It’s a great job and I work with great people.

During my summers, I usually work at a summer camp. The picture above was taken on Lake Hubert, Minnesota. I worked there at Camp Lincoln for Boys as the Asst. Sailing Director.

Last summer, I worked at Camp Widjiwagan in Nashville, TN teaching sailing and doing a little lifeguarding.

When I’m not working, I participate heavily in my fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon (TN Kappa chapter), where I am proud to serve as Senior Marshal.

For hobbies, I’m into sailing, backpacking, music (I play a little guitar), reading, wine, indie film and video games.

By the way, I’m not this guy: Jay Bakker.
